What happens during my first visit?

Your first visit starts by you filling out our evaluation form with some of your medical history and the issue that you are experiencing presently.  After you have filled out the evaluation, your therapist will go over some of the key points from your medical and will begin their evaluation and a treatment. The therapist will do some manual tests to find the cause of your issue and give you their hypothesis and the treatment plan you will need to follow.

What do I need to bring with me?

The report from a recent MRI or Xray is helpful, but not a necessity.

Do I need a doctor’s referral?

You do not need a doctor’s referral to see any of our therapists unless your insurance company requests it. We suggest you check in with your insurance before booking an appointment to make sure you do not run into any issues when you are trying to submit your claims.

How should I dress?

You should bring or wear something comfortable and flexible. Yoga pants, sweat pants or shorts and a t-shirt is ideal.

How long will each treatment last?

Duration of treatment depends on the type of therapy you are receiving.  Generally, appointments range from 30 mins to 1 hour.  You can call us at 514-505-1774 to check in about the particular appointment you are booking.

How many visits will I need?

The amount of visits a patient needs is dependent on the nature of their injury or issue . Usually after the evaluation, we are able to give you an idea of how many treatments you will need and how often.  Typically, patients need a few appointment 1-2 weeks apart at the beginning of treatment and then appointments spread out over longer periods of time.

Who will see me at the clinic?

This will depend on the type of injury or pain you have. If you are unsure who you should see call us at 514-505-1774 and we can direct you to the right therapist for you.

Is my therapist certified?

Yes.  All of our therapists are certified and belong to a well-known association in their field.
